Salesforce Acquires PredictSpring to Boost Retail Commerce

Salesforce acquires PredictSpring to create a unified commerce platform.

Salesforce has announced plans to acquire PredictSpring, a cloud-based Point-of-Sale (POS) software specialist for modern retail.

This move aims to bolster Salesforce’s retail commerce offerings by providing a unified platform that seamlessly integrates digital and physical shopping experiences.

PredictSpring’s technology empowers store associates with mobile tools to engage customers and process transactions anywhere in the store.

PredictSpring’s cloud-based POS and omnichannel solutions will enhance Salesforce’s Customer 360 platform, empowering retailers to deliver personalized experiences across all touchpoints.

Its suite of solutions, including Clienteling, Endless Aisle, and Store Operations, streamlines processes and personalizes shopping across channels.

PredictSpring, already integrated with Salesforce Commerce Cloud and Service Cloud, brings a wealth of experience and a strong customer base to the partnership.

The acquisition is expected to close in the third quarter of Salesforce’s fiscal year 2025, subject to customary closing conditions.

While the acquisition is expected to enhance Salesforce’s retail capabilities, the company has clarified that it will not impact its current financial guidance.
